About Movio
Movio is a marketplace that connects customers with independent vehicle owners, rental companies and drivers in Davao and nearby areas. Movio is not the owner or operator of the listed vehicles unless stated.
Eligibility and verification
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate personal details. Customers must upload a valid government ID and a selfie before booking. Self-drive bookings also require a valid Philippine driver's license. Movio may suspend accounts that submit false or tampered documents.
Bookings
A booking is a contract between the customer and the vehicle partner. Prices shown include the rental, driver fee, delivery or pickup add-ons, the Movio service fee and any refundable deposit. A booking becomes binding once the partner confirms it.
Cancellations
Customers may cancel pending or confirmed bookings in the app. Partners may decline requests they cannot serve. Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to account restrictions.
Vehicle condition and inspections
Both parties must record the odometer, fuel level and photos of the vehicle at pickup and return. These inspection records are used to resolve damage, fuel and mileage disputes.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must follow traffic laws, return the vehicle on time and in the same condition, and must not sublease, overload or use the vehicle for illegal purposes. Late returns may be charged at the hourly or daily rate.
Partner responsibilities
Partners must list roadworthy, registered and insured vehicles, keep their OR/CR valid, assign licensed drivers and honor confirmed bookings and availability calendars.
Ratings and reviews
Reviews must be honest and based on a completed trip. Movio may remove reviews that contain abuse, personal data or links.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Movio is not liable for losses caused by partners, customers or third parties. Movio will cooperate with authorities and insurers in case of incidents.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Movio after an update means you accept the new version.
